There are different types of software that can be used in the classroom. Each program is a different way to help students with their schoolwork. They all help to engage the students and to make learning more fun and interesting.

Drill and practice- students receive feedback immediately for correct or incorrect. It can be as simple as right or wrong or it can go into more detail. Each website is different and flash cards are a great example of drill and practice.

  1. I bet the students love the pefriends.com tutorial. They can learn to dance and have fun at the same time! I also think the online health simulation would be a huge help for PE and Health teachers! It would give students such a better idea about the body, and the different systems in the body. Amazing what technology can do these days:)

  2. The sheppard software sounds interesting. Especially since it has information about health. Maybe I could use that in my class. I think you could incorporate all kinds of things in PE to make it interesting.
